Rolling D&D Stats in Aging Groups - Snowgen - 10-14-2023 Episode 96 of the Dekahedron Podcast was killing a lot of birds with one stone. In it we created a Tunnels & Trolls character but it was also an OSR October episode. The OSR content was a method of generating the primary six attributes in three aging groups. While we used that technique for T&T, it was really intended to be used for D&D [and other OSR games/retro-clones]. Here is a blog post from 2020 where I originally discussed the idea: https://vagabondgm.blogspot.com/2020/03/rolling-d-stats-in-aging-groups.html Interestingly enough, even in that one James treats Charisma as a dump stat. He's a munchkin, I say!
